Personal introduction to my customer base

I’ve been fortunate to have a wonderful pack of dogs and humans to work for. I’ll introduce you both via email and in person so that they all know the new face of The Moochy Pooch.

A week of my time

To use as you see fit, depending what you need. 

It could be: 

  • A week doing the job together, where I share as much knowledge and experience as possible, so that you’re completely confident to hit the ground running. This is where you’ll have the opportunity for face-to-face introductions with The Moochy Pooch people.
  • Undertaking edits on the website or giving a brief introduction to its content management system (WordPress).
  • A tour of the back office systems and admin.

Essentially you have a dedicated week of my time to use as you will. After that The Moochy Pooch will be in your hands.

Back office administrative documents and systems

From Registration Forms, to Joining Instructions and Bookkeeping, I’ll supply you with all the documentation you need to run The Moochy Pooch on a daily basis.

What’s not included?

  • A car or van – You’ll need your own suitable vehicle
  • The existing phone number – We’ll add your phone number to all comms
  • Website hosting – £11.95 per month. (Domain renewal in October 2024)
  • Business Insurance – You’ll need to secure your own insurance. It’s easy and inexpensive at around £7 per month.

(You’ll also need to arrange a DBS check as you’ll be holding keys and entering people’s homes, and undertake a Dog 1st Aid Course.)  

Why am I moving on?

It struck me that you might like to know why I’m selling my beautiful business. Well, I started it as we were coming out of the pandemic and I was struggling badly with my mental health. My mum advised me to do something I could do on my worst day and, hey presto, The Moochy Pooch was born. Over the past three years, being outside with nature, keeping active and enjoying the healing presence of dogs has enabled me to rediscover my confidence, build resilience and ultimately thrive. Now I’m ready to leap into the pursuit of other dreams, dreams that will more than likely take me away from the Midlands. Hence why I’d like to see The Moochy Pooch and all its dogs and owners in safe hands before I go.
